Welcome to CalmBoarding. My goal is to help you feel more calm, confident, and prepared as you move through your travel day — especially if airports tend to feel overwhelming.
This page outlines how support works, what’s included, and what’s not, so we can both have a respectful and smooth experience.
CalmBoarding is a non-clinical, text-only emotional support service for travelers who feel anxious or overwhelmed at the airport.
It’s designed for:
First-time flyers
Neurodivergent or high-sensitivity travelers
Anyone who needs calm, nonjudgmental support navigating their flight day
This is not a therapy service or affiliated with any airport, airline, or mental health organization.
Support is provided via text message only
You’ll receive a 15–20 minute live support window on your flight day (included in your $45 CalmBoarding session)
You’ll also receive a prep checklist ahead of your travel day to help you feel grounded and ready
If your flight is delayed, canceled, or disrupted, you may be offered a Crisis Add-On for $15.
This includes up to 30 minutes of extended text support
It’s meant for real-time disruptions — not full rebooking or all-day coverage
Payment is collected via Venmo at the time of use
You do not need to pre-book the Crisis Add-On. It will only be offered if it becomes relevant.
CalmBoarding is a one-person, emotionally focused service. I ask all clients to:
Communicate respectfully
Use language that is appropriate and constructive
Stay within agreed support windows
If boundaries are crossed or communication becomes unsafe, I reserve the right to end a session early without refund.
All support is through text messaging only. CalmBoarding does not use:
Phone calls
Video chat
Instagram DMs
Email support during a live session
This keeps things focused, clear, and accessible for both of us via text message.
Sessions must be scheduled in advance
If you miss your support window or arrive late, I may not be able to reschedule that same day
CalmBoarding does not offer refunds once a session has begun
If you need to cancel, please give 24 hours notice whenever possible.
This service was created to make travel feel more human and less stressful — especially for those of us who often feel overwhelmed in high-stimulus environments.
